Airline companies are owned by ambitious individuals or groups, imagine a company earning over millions per day, the owner might become mad with all the money he/she has.

The great thing about airlines and their owners is that they always find ways to upgrade their services, because there are no limitations when it comes to improvements.

Vueling is currently the 97th best airline in the world according to SkyTrax. Why is that?

History and Present

Vueling was founded in February, 2004. “Vuelo” is flight in spanish, the founders added english gerund suffix “-ing,” hence the name.

Their first flight between Barcelona and Ibiza departed on Just 1st, 2004 on a Airbus A320. Vueling started out with only two aircrafts, now they have over 100 airliners ready for take-off.

They were given a 4 out of 10 star rating with almost every review rating them with 1 star. Another airline ailed by delayed flights, the travelers therefore, are the victims. Most of the reviews were frustrated about several hours of waiting and hoping for the ground crew to announce checking-in is allowed. Some of the customers even missed their other flights because of the airlines’ failure to notify them about sudden changes.


One traveler was pissed off for having to wait in line just to check in with just one attendant desk accommodating almost 70 passengers.

There were some silver linings, when customers appreciated the clean and tidy plane with friendly in flight staff. One passenger mentioned that one thing that slows down the airline’s operation is due to some passengers bad behaviour.

To help customers make their decisions, the website includes cheap offers and a price calendar page. Simply choose your travel destination and enter the number of passengers, then there it is, a calendar with the dates marked with the prices of the trip you want. The reward program is called the “Punto,” point in english. Customers get points for their every reservations and can redeem them for benefits like exclusive check-in, priority boarding, one free flight for a companion and more.

Updates about your flight and deals quickly pops-out of your smartphone. Easy access to booking, managing flights and checking in, with no problem at all.

Customer Service

Their customer support line for sales is open from 8am to midnight everyday, while their assistance line is open 24/7. They also have a “Send us a message” feature so customers can submit their complaints, suggestions and queries. Things are a lot easier, probably, when customers go to the FAQs page rather than waiting for their turn to the phone line.


They offer a single-class cabin with different seat features.

Excellence seats are on the row 1 and passengers availing this feature seats next to no one. XL seats are more spacious for a better comfort with a built-in shelf so you can do your work.

On Board Shop

There are also different features for all kinds of passengers like children, pregnant women, elderly and more. These services needs to be availed at least 1 or 2 days before your flight.
