Travelzoo Reviews 2016
Since it has been a year, we will be starting to write new reviews about the travel sites we once wrote about last year, just to give you a heads up of the current status or changes of a particular online travel agency. Things can change in a span of a year, that’s why we decided on re-writing some of the written travel search engines and give you the freshest feedback for 2016.
In this review, we will be re-talking about Travelzoo.
Travelzoo Reviews 2016
Travelzoo traces its roots back to October 1998 when a former print and television journalist, Ralph Bartel, established a travel company with an initial investment of $10,000. It was a smart move for him because, in time,
Travelzoo was recognized as one of the best websites for travel-related information and travel deals.
In 2015, their CEO Chris Loughlin stepped down and was succeeded temporarily by the acting CEO Holger Bartel, the brother of Ralph Bartel.
Along with the CEO’s transition to Holger Bartel as global CEO, a new title, Travelzoo announced that Mike Stitt will become president, North America, effective immediately. Stitt had headed Travelzoo’s entertainment and local categories most recently.
Travelzoo offers from more than 2,000 travel, entertainment and local companies. Travelzoo’s deal experts review offers to find the best deals and confirm their true value. They never publish a deal they wouldn’t book ourselves. That’s how they guarantee their customers that each deal is exclusive.
Basically, Travelzoo is not just about searching and booking deals online. Of course, it provides hotel reservations, vacation deals, cruises, restaurants, spas, car rental services and other entertainment and travel activities. Travelzoo specializes on online, media, publishing, advertising and local deals. Travelzoo has a mobile version of their service available on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
Navigating on Travelzoo doesn’t seem the case. How can a successful travel business have a not modernized web page? What I mean here is the design of the website is pretty dull and not well executed, there is surely room for improvements, big rooms. White background, logo at the top left, search engine on the right hand of the page and deals offered on the middle part. It doesn’t even convince a customer that Travelzoo is best site to book their travel itineraries.
Now, let’s check what have Travelzoo Reviews 2016 have to say…

Just like a zoo, the company had well explained what does Travelzoo offer. A zoo is known to be a place where animals are on display to keep visitors entertained. We are all aware that a zoo is the best term to explain unorganized grouping. Now, after writing all the facts about Travelzoo, it’s your discretion if you’ll pay a visit and use this travel site for your future travel plans. It is always best to make your research first before booking on a so-called popular travel site.
