Pacific Coastal Airlines Reviews

The airline traces its roots back in the 1960s and operated flights at Cassidy Airport, which is more commonly known nowadays as Nanaimo Airport. In early 1980s, the airline was acquired by Jim Pattison Industries and absorbed into Airwest Airlines. At that time, the Canadian airline was operating on the Nanaimo-Vancouver, Victoria-Nanaimo-Comox-Campbell River-Port Hardy, and Nanaimo-Qualicum-Port Alberni routes.

Pacific Coastal Airlines Reviews-crewIn 1987, by the merger of Powell Air and the Port Hardy division of Air BC. Pacific Coastal Airlines acquired the shares and assets of Wilderness Airlines on April 1, 1998.

Now, Pacific Coastal Airlines operates scheduled, charter and cargo services to destinations in British Columbia with its head office at  Vancouver International Airport as well as a hub at Port Hardy Airport. The fleet of Pacific Coastal Airlines consists of 25 aircraft–Beechcraft, Cessna, de Havilland Canada, Grumman Goose and Saab models.

InFlight Services

With Pacific Coast Airlines there are 4 kinds of services they offer. Cargo, scheduled services, charter and seaplanes.

Pacific Coastal Airlines cargo head office is located at the Vancouver Int’l Airport’s South Terminal (north side). Pacific Coastal Airlines staff takes pride in helping ensure that your shipment will arrive safely to its intended destination. Customer can help with this process by ensuring that their shipment is packaged properly, that it can withstand normal handling, that it is safe to handle (danger does not exist to staff or to the aircraft) and that inappropriate items are not contained.

Pacific Coastal Airlines Reviews-cabinFor the regular scheduled service, the airline operates to 14 airports in British Columbia. While Charter flights give passengers the privilege to charter across western Canada and the United States. They also operate seaplane service to more than fifty coastal communities from their base in Port Hardy on northern Vancouver Island and as well as Bella Bella.

Scheduled wheeled-aircraft connections within their network as far as Port Hardy and Bella Bella. From both bases onward, seaplane service is available to local coastal communities.

Official Website

Pacific Coastal Airlines Reviews-pageThe web page of the airline is simple and is not modernized, though the information is pretty much general. The first time we tried to navigate the page, we actually thought it was an online shop. Moreover, the official site provides access to maps, their social media accounts, hot deals, services, policies and news. The option to search flights is shown at the top, but not that recognizable because the size is too small to notice it. Pacific Coastal Airlines doesn’t have a mobile app but they have a mobile site.

Pacific Coastal Airlines Reviews of Passengers

Pacific Coastal Airlines Reviews-customersThe airline the provides domestic services in British Columbia has garnered positive feedback online. We read through Pacific Coastal Airlines reviews and passengers were even happy they found out about this airline. One customer actually said “I flew these guys for the first time over the weekend and was very impressed. Yes, the planes are small, but their customer service was excellent and they were able to get me to my destination promptly and without fuss.”

Conclusion

I really like the fact that this simple airline is really being appreciated by customers. They are the kind of airlines that knows how to take care of their customers and turn them into frequent flyers. They might be just using fairly small prop planes with one seat on each side of the row holding around 20+ people, but they are much more than their size.

Another good thing about YVR is their latest reviews are actually scored with 10/10, wherein the reviewer said:

“Excellent transit as usual at Vancouver airport. I had separate airline bookings so I had to exit the secure area and check in again, and the process was quick and easy. The food is great, but as of June 2016 the international departures section was getting work done on its restaurants, so the selection was below what it usually is.”

5 Most Popular Cities in Canada by FlightHub

Canada is one of the countries tourists and travellers do not just dream to visit, but dream to live and start a family in. Did you know that roughly 30% of Canada’s total landmass is occupied by forest? How should we put this, “Prostitution is legal in Canada.” Well, not all can make this legal.

Some of Hollywood’s biggest and hottest stars come from up North. Name one? The actor who played Deadpool. Well, he’s not just famous in Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds sure had made his name legendary.

Hint! National flag: Canada’s flag became official on February 15, 1965, almost 100 years after it became a country in 1867. Canada had used approximately 13 different flag designs since 1497, before the maple leaf.

1. Quebec
5 Most Popular Cities in Canada by FlightHub-Quebec

Known as the largest province in Canada, the city plays host to some of Canada’s most beautiful countrysides. Quebec City is one of the oldest settlements in North America, French-speaking, and home to the Château Frontenac, a 19th-century hotel that dominates the city’s skyline.

2. Vancouver
5 Most Popular Cities in Canada by FlightHub-Vancouver

Some mistakenly think Vancouver is the capital of Canada. It is not. Though, Vancouver has been named the “best place to live in the world” more than a few times. The west coast city in British Columbia boasts a buzzy cultural life, a rich platter of ethnically diverse restaurants, and a cosmopolitan population. One of the popular destinations is the Capilano Suspension Bridge. And, this is the city where Mount Washington Alpine Ski Resort is located.

3. Ottawa
Ottawa

The capital of Canada, Ottawa became known as “Silicon Valley North” during the technology boom of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Public Service of Canada and the high-tech industry generate the most jobs. The second-largest city in Canada, Montreal is France’s home away from home. The city’s official language is French which is spoken by more than half of the population. The French also lend the city its sense of cool laid-back chic. It is a cultural hub with more than a few international flavours, and boasts more than 100 festivals a year.

5. Toronto
5 Most Popular Cities in Canada by FlightHub-Toronto

The largest city in Canada and arguably the best-known. Just so you know, Toronto is not the country’s capital (Ottawa is), but it is the Ontarian. Like a more civilised, clean-cut New York, Toronto has its skyscrapers downtown, glitzy shopping in Yorkville and Bohemian districts in Queen Street West. The most popular destination and landmark of the city is the CN Tower, which hathe world’s tallest, at 1,815 feet.

Pro Tip: If you’re planning to visit the 5 Most Popular Cities in Canada by FlightHub, make sure to do your research first; also try looking to book your flights using online travel agencies as they tend to, on average, reduce airfare costs by about 43%; one of the few good ones is JustFly.com.

Official Website

It took several attempts before we were able to access the official site of Air Georgian. We got to admit that the interface is not modernized, but it’s not that complicated to navigate because it’s simple and user-friendly. Unlike other airlines’ official sites, Air Georgian doesn’t directly show the option to search and book for flights on their main page. Booking of scheduled flights is done through the Air Canada website. For reference, customers refer to the link below:

Air Georgian Reviews-pageUnfortunately, Air Georgian doesn’t have a mobile app for the mobile version of their service. Halifax Stanfield International Airport Reviews

When the Halifax Civic Airport was closed and converted to an army base in 1942, the Department of Transport established a new airport near Kelly Lake in 1960. The air facility accommodated over 180,000 passengers by then, and it became quite apparent in the 1970’s that the growth rate of YHZ was greater than an average airport.

Halifax Stanfield International Airport Reviews-Robert Stanfield
Robert Stanfield

As a result, long-range development plans were made. And, that’s what it makes the Halifax Stanfield International Airport as it is now.

Did you know that YHZ was part of Operation Yellow Ribbon of Canada? An operation to handle the diversion of civilian airline flights in response to the September 11 attacks in 2001. And, also to honour the people of Gander and Halifax for their support during the operation, Lufthansa named a new Airbus A340-300 “Gander-Halifax” on May 16, 2002.

The airport was named in honour of Robert Stanfield, or the 17th Premier of Nova Scotia and leader of the federal Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. In this review we’ll be looking through about the services and traffic reviews of Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ).

Aesthetics

Halifax Stanfield International Airport Reviews-facilitiesThe airport that was awarded as “Best Airport in North America” of the Airport Service Quality and also had been the 3rd Best Airport by Size in 2011, Halifax Stanfield International Airport serves as the main airport of Nova Scotia of the Canadian province and has several facilities. So, getting lost won’t be a problem at YHZ. An information desk is located in the Arrivals area and more tourism Nova Scotia centers are located at the main level of the domestic arrivals. Volunteer assistants are available throughout the airport to help passengers with a range of queries.

There are a lot of restrooms located throughout the airport, but sad to say, showers are not available. To keep customers entertained, art and scheduled live music exhibitions are available throughout the airport.

There are two duty free shops at the airport. One is located on the Departures Level, across from Gate 24, and closes 45 minutes prior to the departure of non-US international flights. The other duty free shop, located in the US Pre-Clearance facility, stays open for all US-bound international flights and closes at the last call.

Halifax Stanfield International Airport Reviews-insideThere is a wide selection of fast-food outlets, cafés, and snack bars both pre- and post-security within the terminal, including licensed bars and pubs. Most food concessions throughout the airport operate with varying schedules, one of which (Tim Horton) is open for 24 hours.

Free WiFi is available at Halifax Airport. Connect to the “Halifax_Airport” network. Additionally, telephones with internet access are situated throughout the departure lounges, while dedicated internet kiosks are positioned throughout the terminal.

Non-passengers who are on a tour are also accommodated, through tours that can be conducted on Wednesdays from mid-September to mid-June. Tours can be customized to suit your group.

Transportation Directions

Halifax Stanfield International Airport can be reached from Highway 102, when heading north out of Halifax. Take exit 6 off the highway and follow the signs to the airport.
Halifax Stanfield International Airport Reviews-MetroX
Other means of public transportation are via MetroX bus 320 which links the airport to central Halifax, Airport Express that provides express shuttle service to various destinations in Nova Scotia, and Taxi or Limousine services from Domestic Arrivals.

Location – Traffic – Service

Halifax Stanfield International Airport is located 35 km (22 miles) north of central Halifax and is a hub for Air Canada Express, Cougar Helicopters, Maritime Air Charter, Provincial Airlines, and SkyLink Express. The public-type international airport of Canada was ranked to be the 8th busiest airport in the country by passenger traffic. YHZ had accommodated 3.7 million passengers last year.

The airport is also served by several fixed-base operators which handle handle fueling, ground handling, hangarage, catering, etc. These include Atlantic Sky Service, Shell AeroCentre, and Gateway Facilities.

Halifax Stanfield International Airport Reviews & News

Since the comments posted on Skytrax were pretty much outdated, we looked for more Halifax Stanfield International Airport reviews and found some on Yelp. On Yelp, we found several feedback regarding the airport. Halifax Stanfield International Airport reviews have stated that YHZ is probably one of the better airports in Canada, especially if you are used to Pearson. With a total rating of 4/5 on Yelp, this proves that passengers had a nice experience with Halifax Stanfield International Airport. One reviewer even said, “Otherwise, for a city of this size, I think YHZ does a marvelous job,”

Conclusion

However, we are still puzzled why Halifax Stanfield International Airport had ranked down from the 56th to 61th spot from the World’s Top 100 Airports. Maybe, because of some complaints over the neutrality of their services? Or, maybe because the airport needs more development given its size and traffic. I hope they won’t keep going down every year.

Canadian Affair Reviews of Users

complaintsLooking at several feedback on Trustpilot, the travel site had scored 2/10 from 12 Canadian Affair reviews. This isn’t a good way to impress customers. The most recent review was titled “Shocking Customer Service” since the consumer wasn’t provided with what they booked for. What made this worse was the customer care team are unwilling to try to resolve the complaint. He ended his review by saying “Do not book with them. They will take your money and are not interested when they have made mistakes.” To see more of Canadian Affair reviews, click the link: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/canadian-affair.com

Overview

In this Canadian Affair review, this tour operator to Canada with 20 years in business really makes me feel a sort of abstinence. I’m puzzled why fraud are showing, inaccurate prices are offered to customers, and why offer a service which won’t make a difference with or without it. Want to say something about it too? Belair Travel Reviews

“Where vacation cost you less”. This has been the company slogan of Belair Travel since they were founded in 1983 by the same founders of Red Tag, Mr. Enzo, Joe and Frank DeMarinis. That is actually because Belair Travel is the parent company of Red Tag. Moving forward, in this review, we’ll be checking on the credibility of Belair Travel and its services.
Belair Travel Reviews-foundersThe Canada-based travel meta search engine has 11 other offices located throughout Ontario. They can’t, however, guarantee customers that price displays on their page won’t change. This has always been a problem with Belair Travel. Customers are mostly complaining about inconsistent price offering, which appears to be the reason why they gathered negative Belair Travel reviews. But before we check customer’s comments, let us see how Belair Travel works.

What is Belair Travel?

Bel Air Travel is a full service travel agency offering travel services for flights, hotels reservations, car rentals, attraction tickets and vacation packages with both a cruise and last minute sell off division. Since Belair Travel is a huge travel company, it has several other travel partners which include: Sunquest, Signature, Sunwing, and Transat. The aim of these extended partnerships is to bring value to the Canadian travel market with packaged vacations to the south and around the world.
Belair Travel Reviews-page
Unlike other travel sites, it is said that Belair Travel service doesn’t only end with booking with them. Their Customer Care Agents will contact customers to review their booking. Why? To make sure everything is going accordingly as planned and paid for. This way will help travellers to assure their booking with no technical glitches or fraudulent actions happening to ruin their vacation. They are the only Canadian travel site that provides this kind of service.

However, this doesn’t seem the case with their consumers’ acknowledgement. As we checked on Belair Travel reviews, customers who used or booked with them don’t seem happy with their overall service.

Belair Travel Reviews of Consumers

For some reason, the reviews we read last week about the inefficiency of Belair Travel were suddenly gone without a trace. What were left were just positive reviews. These remaining reviews were even dated back to 2010. Free us from suspicion, but we are certainly sure that something is really going in here. Someone is trying to clean their trash and place it on one side, pretending they were never wrong. I hope reviewers who published those shared experiences won’t find this out.

Overview
Belair Travel Reviews-overview

For 14 years in a row, Belair Travel was recognized for Consumer’s Choice Award for Business Excellence, which totally contradicts what we just learned from Belair Travel reviews. They also promote “lowest price guaranteed” service. Wait what? Didn’t they just say they can’t guarantee prices? Something is definitely wrong here. We all know they were established 3 decades ago, but please at least upgrade or modernize their website’s layout. It doesn’t seem convincing to be one of the best travel sites in Canada.

Since it has been a year, we will be starting to write new reviews about the travel sites we once wrote about last year, just to give you a heads up of the current status or changes of a particular online travel agency. Things can change within the span of a year, that’s why we decided on rewriting some of the written travel search engines and give you the freshest feedback for 2016.

In this review, we will be re-talking about Sunwing.

Sunwing Reviews 2016

Sunwing Reviews 2016-Colin Hunter
Colin Hunter

Who won’t be confused after searching for Sunwing? The first thing that you’ll ask, are they an airline or an online travel agency. Well, to give you an unspecific-specific answer, they’re actually both. Since the last time we talked about Sunwing, there were no actual changes on their site. But we quite noticed that their online travel site had slightly been updated. However, given the slight changes, Sunwing was not as popular as when we last wrote a review about them.

As we recall, Sunwing traces its roots back to 2002 as a privately owned travel site by Mr. Colin Hunter. Until now, Hunter is the owner and founding president of Sunwing.ca and the established Sunwing Airlines in 2005.

How does Sunwing work?

The had once been Canada’s fastest growing and most successful companies wherein they offer travel related services such as holiday packages from Canada to the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, Europe, and USA. Carrying the company slogan “Experience the difference”, Sunwing had literally made a difference within the span of a year. Travellers and loyal customers are not happy with these changes.
Sunwing Reviews 2016-page
Basically, Sunwing is your typical Canadian-based travel site which lets customers search, compare and book for holiday packages, flights, hotel reservations, car rentals and cruise packages. However, even if we noticed slight changes on the layout, it’s still not as good as the other updated or modernized travel sites. Some customers find it hard to navigate which makes them prefer booking with the other travel meta search engines.

Sunwing Reviews 2016 from Customers

After scanning through and reading several Sunwing reviews, questions are clearly answered as to why the travel company had changed in consumer’s status since these reviewers had continuously been sending complaints about Sunwing’s services. Here’s one review that really caught our attention:

“There’s an 80%-99.9% chance you’ll regret giving your money to this company. To make a long story short, I battled with reps from Sunwing for  about 3 years over a cancellation that they were faulty in acknowledging and unwilling to refund.”

We also tried to check on their Sunwing reviews 2016 for airlines, they are not on a good standing as well. According to Skytrax, Sunwing had an overall score rating of 4/10 which was based on 471 Sunwing reviews 2016. To see the complaints and feedback, click here.

  • Head Office Address:           27 Fasken Drive, M9W 1K6, Toronto,Ontario

Overview

Sunwing might be better if they merge their travel site and airline. Because these separated pages, but one owner keeps customers confused and doubtful about the overall legitimacy of Sunwing. Several other reviewers had really complained about Sunwing’s page not being modernized, it makes them really anxious and makes them think that Sunwing is not well maintained and it just comes up with not booking with them at all.

Busbud Reviews

Busbud has evidently been one of the most popular bus booking sites nowadays. But have you ever tried to wonder how does it work? I mean, it is not always safe to assume things based on how others see it. It doesn’t mean it’s famous, that it is eliable. Remember, the term “infamous” exists. Now, in this review let us check Busbud from in and out.

Let’s start by discovering how it all began.

History of Busbud

After finishing his MBA at Harvard., the founder of Busbud had the eagerness to explore the world before deciding what’s next with his life. It was summer in 2011 when Louise-Philippe Maurice backpacked across international destinations, but notice he had a hard time knowing where to go and from what bus point he should be. That sprouted  the idea in him and he started drafting a business plan on his 10-hour bus ride to Argentina.

Busbud Reviews-Maurice, Michael and Frederic

Went back to Montreal after his Argentina journey and founded Busbud with his trusted longtime friends Michael Gradek (Busbud CTO) and Frederic Thouin (CAO). Yes, to answer your question. Maurice is the founder and CEO of Busbud.

Here’s how the bus site looks like:
Busbud Reviews-page
Busbud provides services from 55 countries, 6,000 cities and 500,000 routes which indicates that this bus booking company offers super fast booking tools, with the most options to book on handled by their friendly customer support team.
Busbud Reviews-mobile appWith the help of some angel investors and ventures, Busbud had acquired several rounds of funding which had helped them improve their mobile app for iOS and Android. In 2015, they relaunched the new look of their mobile version. The update lets travellers browse and book bus tickets directly on their phones for city-to-city trips across North America, South America, Europe and Africa. Since the new launch had been done, Busbud had provided full coverage routes in Mexico.

CONS!

The Canada-based bus booking site had several feedback shown online. It is quite impressive that Busbud had an almost perfect rating on Trustpilot. Let’s take a closer look why.

After scanning through Busbud reviews, why does it seem like all these feedback that raised their rating to 9.2/10 are all just made up? Believe me, this doesn’t seem legit at all. Maybe, if this was done on TripAdvisor by real profiles of travellers then I’ll be more convinced that this is not just an act of misleading Busbud reviews. See for yourself, click here.

Points To Reconsider

Why does it always have to end like this? Busbud is actually a good bus site, but they don’t have to pretend that a number of customers are pleasing their services every 2 hours just to make it seem perfect. Busbud should just let the natural comments keep coming, so they would know where to work on, because it matters, to accept mistakes than to cover them up with another lie.

Since it has been a year, we will be starting to write new reviews about the travel sites we once wrote about last year, just to give you a heads up of the current status or changes of a particular online travel agency. Things can change in a span of a year, that’s why we decided on re-writing some of the written travel search engines and give you the freshest feedback for 2016.

In this review, we will be re-talking about Red Tag.

Red Tag Reviews 2016

Red Tag Reviews 2016-Enzo, Joe and Frank DeMarinis

Red Tag is fully owned by Red Label Vacations Inc., which is a Canadian online travel agency founded in 2004. The founders of Red Tag are also the owners and founders of Bel Air Travel Group, which are Enzo, Joe and Frank DeMarinis. The company slogan is “We’ll get you there for less!”.

Most of the time when we see a Red Tag, it often means it’s on sale or on a budget price. But did you know that Red Tag also means a building or an establishment severely damaged to the point where it would be unsafe to inhabit it?

Now, help me wonder if their company name was originated from the sales concept or actually a stay away zone marking? Let’s check how Red Tag been doing this past year.

How does Red Tag work?
The self-proclaimed leading travel site in Canada is just similar to other Canadian online travel agencies which offer search, compare and book options to travellers. They also offer services such as hotel reservations, car rental services, cruise, group and vacation packages. Their customer service number is shown promptly at the top center of the page, which also mentioned that 150 travel experts are waiting to serve customers on the other line. But I am wondering why complaints and Red Tag reviews 2016 show they are hard to reach?

Red Tag Reviews 2016 from Consumers
Red Tag Reviews 2016-complaint
It wasn’t hard to find Red Tag reviews 2016 online since the travel site is infamous for its fake deals and offers. One reviewer even ended up booking with a competitor site with a lesser value. What rooted him to book on the other side was the treatment of the said “travel experts”.

He even said “They had a reasonable price but I was treated less than respectfully as soon as I had a problem. I have booked with other online sites several times and I have never had such a headache even when I’ve requested price adjustments or changes. I’m not going to make any recommendation but I personally do not have confidence in redtag.ca.”

Red Tag Reviews 2016-red tagIn A Nutshell
Now, it is your choice if you want to still book on a doubtful site and be treated wrongly after having little concerns. These complaints and Red Tag reviews 2016 were not made up. Remember, it is still best to make research before getting a good-price deal. You might never know, that exclusive offer might be just a bait for you to book and lose your money without its purpose.
