Red Tag is fully owned by Red Label Vacations Inc., which is a Canadian online travel agency founded in 2004. The founders of Red Tag are also the owners and founders of Bel Air Travel Group, which are Enzo, Joe and Frank DeMarinis. The company slogan is “We’ll get you there for less!”.

Most of the time when we see a Red Tag, it often means it’s on sale or on a budget price. But did you know that Red Tag also means a building or an establishment severely damaged to the point where it would be unsafe to inhabit it?

Now, help me wonder if their company name was originated from the sales concept or actually a stay away zone marking? Let’s check how Red Tag been doing this past year.

How does Red Tag work?
The self-proclaimed leading travel site in Canada is just similar to other Canadian online travel agencies which offer search, compare and book options to travellers. They also offer services such as hotel reservations, car rental services, cruise, group and vacation packages. Their customer service number is shown promptly at the top center of the page, which also mentioned that 150 travel experts are waiting to serve customers on the other line. But I am wondering why complaints and Red Tag reviews 2016 show they are hard to reach?

It wasn’t hard to find Red Tag reviews 2016 online since the travel site is infamous for its fake deals and offers. One reviewer even ended up booking with a competitor site with a lesser value. What rooted him to book on the other side was the treatment of the said “travel experts”.

He even said “They had a reasonable price but I was treated less than respectfully as soon as I had a problem. I have booked with other online sites several times and I have never had such a headache even when I’ve requested price adjustments or changes. I’m not going to make any recommendation but I personally do not have confidence in”

  1. False advertisement, pressured to agree then when I realized my mistake refusal to refund
    I booked a flight leaving from London.
    Several hrs later I received an email saying even though the flight was on their website they did not offer this flight and offered an alternate choice but that I had approx 2 hrs to reply or I will lose the reservations. Are you kidding me?!

  2. I am writing this e-mail to express my extreme disappointment with the Red Tags agent I spoke to on January, 26-2017 whose name was Frances( booking number 91321042).
    I was given clearly false information and at this point I would like this matter dealt with immediately and would insist that I receive my money back promptly.

    I had called this agent to inquire about the pricing for an all-inclusive vacation to Riu Palace in Mexico on February 10-18 from Vancouver, B.C. I was told that I could purchase the tickets immediately as the purchase would include the Sunwing Price- Drop Money Back Guarantee, which would cover ANY changes to price up until the day of the trip. I had paid 1875 per ticket (I bought two tickets) and on Thursday, February 2nd, the price for this trip went down to $1715 per ticket. I tried to file a claim with Sun Wings to receive the difference in the amount but was told that Sun Wings cannot provide this as their Money Back Policy only extends to two weeks before the departure date. This was definitely NOT what I was told by this agent, and the only reason I bought the tickets at that time without waiting for the price to go down was because I was told that I could file for the money anytime before the trip. This information was not correct and I believe was told to me in order to make a sale and get me to buy the tickets at that time rather than later on. All this information can be confirmed by listening to a recording between myself and the agent where I was clearly told that I could receive a price adjustment anytime before the trip, not two weeks beforehand.

    I certainly do not appreciate being lied to and feel that this is very unprofessional.
