Quikbook Reviews

First of all do not confuse Quikbook from Quickbooks. Both are different kind of businesses. Quikbook is an American online hotel search engine whereas Quickbooks is an accounting software owned by Intuit. In this article, we will talk about the travel related one, Quikbook.

It is still on a continuous operation since 1988, it all started as an independent call-center hotel reservation service but now has beena  fully integrated online and call center distributor of hotels with reasonable pricing. Now, Quikbook has over 200 employees and works with partnership with different hotel properties and chains over 100 of the most travel destinations worldwide with guaranteed rates up to 60% off.

PROS
The page itself isn’t even enticing at all. They actually selected the right color for elegance but obviously didn’t maximize the potential in designing their asset; their own page itself. Moving forward, given its boring layout the simplicity of the site was kept. On a positive note, a slogan is shown on the center as “Look before you book.” which only means that customers are adviced to look search first before deciding on booking. However it is promptly shownthat they find the best deals from the boutique hotel experts. Let us see how that works.

I tried searching for Boston city for 1 night as 1 adult on December 9 and the results are promising. Hotels in Boston are arranged by recommendation first and this option is interchangeable by price, hotel rating, location and review score. It also displayed the discounted amount you will save once you book now.

CONS
Consumers are satisfied with the services of Quikbook. Based on several Quikbook Reviews, the online hotel meta search engine was even considered as reliable and credible. One customer was even happy on how things turn out with their transaction. She said:

questionable“QuikBook is just absolutely amazing, and as the name hints; it’s definitely quick. I manage to book a hotel in less than an hour without any hassle. Their customer service are extremely reliable and I was able to book my hotel without any problems. I’d recommend this service to anyone looking for a hotel to book!”

The customer gave them a 5 out 5 rating on December 11, 2013 and what caught my attention of all of the Quikbook reviews were backdated to 2013. How come there are no recent reviews, like 2015 or even 2014? This leaves me on a doubtful state.

NO CEOAdvice to Revise
After reading through several Quikbook reviews, given its number of above average customer reviews and recommendation. The online hotel search engine is still hanging on a thin line. For this hotel site is not being really reliable for its supporting details about the ownership of the company. No CEO? No founder? How could that be possible? Not even a partner company is operating Quikbook? I wonder how Quikbook manages their final decisions in everything. Have you booked with Quikbook? Feel free to share your story below.

  1. I once booked with Quikbook but never again fall for the same mistake twice. They sure look promising and convincing. But I am asking whoever wants to try using Quikbook, DO ALL MEANS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIDICULOUS COMPANY!

  2. I have never faced this situation where the website charges the customer successfully and never generates the ticket. I have even called up the customer care and filed a complaint, for which they initially said that they need to check up with the airline if the ticket was actually booked. Later they confirmed me that the ticket was not booked and they need to investigate if they have received the money from the bank and if received they will refund my amount in 14 working days BUT they never did.

  3. Making a mistake once is accidental, twice is intentional.
Save yourself on your next booking Cindy and Skyler. Not with Quikbook of course.
