Pacific Coastal Airlines Reviews
The airline traces its roots back in the 1960s and operated flights at Cassidy Airport, which is more commonly known nowadays as Nanaimo Airport. In early 1980s, the airline was acquired by Jim Pattison Industries and absorbed into Airwest Airlines. At that time, the Canadian airline was operating on the Nanaimo-Vancouver, Victoria-Nanaimo-Comox-Campbell River-Port Hardy, and Nanaimo-Qualicum-Port Alberni routes.
Now, Pacific Coastal Airlines operates scheduled, charter and cargo services to destinations in British Columbia with its head office at Vancouver International Airport as well as a hub at Port Hardy Airport. The fleet of Pacific Coastal Airlines consists of 25 aircraft–Beechcraft, Cessna, de Havilland Canada, Grumman Goose and Saab models.
With Pacific Coast Airlines there are 4 kinds of services they offer. Cargo, scheduled services, charter and seaplanes.
Pacific Coastal Airlines cargo head office is located at the Vancouver Int’l Airport’s South Terminal (north side). Pacific Coastal Airlines staff takes pride in helping ensure that your shipment will arrive safely to its intended destination. Customer can help with this process by ensuring that their shipment is packaged properly, that it can withstand normal handling, that it is safe to handle (danger does not exist to staff or to the aircraft) and that inappropriate items are not contained.
For the regular scheduled service, the airline operates to 14 airports in British Columbia. While Charter flights give passengers the privilege to charter across western Canada and the United States. They also operate seaplane service to more than fifty coastal communities from their base in Port Hardy on northern Vancouver Island and as well as Bella Bella.
Scheduled wheeled-aircraft connections within their network as far as Port Hardy and Bella Bella. From both bases onward, seaplane service is available to local coastal communities.
The web page of the airline is simple and is not modernized, though the information is pretty much general. The first time we tried to navigate the page, we actually thought it was an online shop. Moreover, the official site provides access to maps, their social media accounts, hot deals, services, policies and news. The option to search flights is shown at the top, but not that recognizable because the size is too small to notice it. Pacific Coastal Airlines doesn’t have a mobile app but they have a mobile site.
Pacific Coastal Airlines Reviews of Passengers
The airline the provides domestic services in British Columbia has garnered positive feedback online. We read through Pacific Coastal Airlines reviews and passengers were even happy they found out about this airline. One customer actually said “I flew these guys for the first time over the weekend and was very impressed. Yes, the planes are small, but their customer service was excellent and they were able to get me to my destination promptly and without fuss.”

I really like the fact that this simple airline is really being appreciated by customers. They are the kind of airlines that knows how to take care of their customers and turn them into frequent flyers. They might be just using fairly small prop planes with one seat on each side of the row holding around 20+ people, but they are much more than their size.
