The Swedish charter airline was founded in 1997 with initial routes from Stockholm to Thailand and Spain with the help of Apollo, a Swedish online travel agency. Novair was fully owned by Kuoni Travel Group. However, last year, Kuoni sold Novair to Rewe Group and it let the airline close down their Gothenburg base which will be effective this March 2016.
The airline is headquartered in Stockholm with its main hub in Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. The current fleet size of Novair consists of 3 Airbus A321-200s catering to 45 destinations while carrying the company slogan “Lifting You -To The World and Home”. They’re led by their Managing Director, Anders Fred who doesn’t have much information online. Novair offers two kinds of services on board: Economy Class and Novair Extra, which is their company jargon for Business Class.
Novair’s page can have too much or too little information because there are too many images showing which categorize the airline’s services and policies. It is quite confusing where to start. However, the heading also gives you more information options for travelers about Before, During and After the trip. Novair offers package tours for summer and winter. As part of their on board service, inflight Duty Free shopping pre-order can be done online. However, to be honest I can’t find where to book a flight with them.
The bottom part of the page gives you access to Apollo, maybe that’s where we can book trips for this airline but I hope they had elaborated that promptly.
Another good factor about the official website of Novair is that it lets travelers know what they would expect on board and what are the expected meals served depending on the route, class or time duration of flight. Just a heads up, Novair is a non-smoking airline but alcohol is served and passengers ordering must be 18 years old.
Novair Reviews of Customers
The airline seems to be in good standing. Based on Novair reviews online, the airline is getting positive feedback from its own customers. However, I am not sure if these will serve as reliable Novair reviews because those which are appearing online are backdated in 2011. Like for example this one:
“I have went with Novair four times OSL-LPA x2 OSL-TFS OSL-FUE. Great service good looking planes comfortable seats. No delays new clean A321. The only less good thing – the food.”

Judging through all the information gathered and facts discovered, it seems that Novair is worth the shot since they know how to value the customer’s pre-concerns. It is a big factor that an airline knows how to take care of its customers.
