NextJet Reviews

The largest regional airline in Sweden was founded in 2000. The airline has a partnership with SAS (Scandinavian Airlines), Finnair and Wideroe facilitate interline services via Stockholm Arlanda Airport to destinations within and outside of Europe. Since NextJet is just a regional airline, there’s not much information found online regarding the origins and ownership of the air carrier.

Though NextJet is managed by their current CEO, Mr. Magnus Ivarsson. The growing fleet of 17 aircraft consists of 6 BAe ATP, 5 Saab 340A and 6 Saab 340B. The airline caters over 20 domestic and international routes (outside Europe). This includes Finland and Norway. However, being the largest regional airline in Sweden, NextJet focuses more on domestic routes and also operates executive charter flights via two business jet aircraft.

Website and On Board Services
Please be reminded that the official site is on Swedish by default. The option to change the site’s version either to Finnish or English, is found on the top right of the page. The page itself looks enticing, given its selection of theme color which actually gives me the impression of an air mail envelope. NextJet’s page was uniquely designed and organized, wherein customers can plan their trip by the booking option on the right hand of the page.

It also provides options to check the timetable or manage bookings. Since Sweden is a known place to ski, they immediately give out travel information necessities with ski-equipment. They recently released their new inflight magazine “Above” which is also available on board.

Unfortunately, NextJet doesn’t have a mobile version of their services, but travelers can learn more about the airline via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

NextJet Reviews of Passengers
Well, in this review, we based the feedback from Trustpilot rather than Skytrax’s Airlinequality since NextJet reviews on Trustpilot are dated in 2015 while Skytrax’s are dated back in 2013. However, even when we checked the 2015 NextJet reviews on Trustpilot, comments are still too far to be considered “recent” since the last post shown is dated June 23, 2015. On a positive note, the airline had gathered a total rating score of 7.4/10.

Now, back to the last comment uploaded. Tim considered NextJet with “good and courteous service”. Since he had a bad experience booking with eDreams, he just decided to directly book a flight with NextJet.

Conclusion
We are aware that NextJet only has limited information online and reviews are not even updated. But we hope this review helped you a lot in learning more about this Swedish regional airline. We tried looking around for inflight views with NextJet but haven’t found any. I guess NextJet is not that famous compared to their flag carrier Scandinavian Airline. On a positive note, the airline is not actually bad at all to fly with.

  1. Both flights on time. Used their website for booking – all you need to get your boarding pass is the credit card you used for the booking. They do have an English website but don’t expect much or any actual service in English at check in time. On both flights I appeared to be the only westerner on board. Prices from their website can be very very cost effective
