Directions

If driving, from central Quito, take the E28 highway east via Cumbayå towards Tumbaco, turning north onto the E35 at Pifo. After 3km (2 miles) on the E35, the Conector Alpachaca road branches off the E35 and leads directly to the airport. Owing to the winding nature of the roads around Quito and traffic congestion, the journey can take anything between 60 to 120 minutes.

Conclusion

Ecuador is known to be the country in the middle of the earth. Well, the country’s name itself was derived from the word Equator or the imaginary line drawn around the earth equally distant from both poles, dividing the earth into northern and southern hemispheres and constituting the parallel of latitude 0°. As the center of everything, Mariscal Sucre International Airport sure had been good at providing air facility services but needs some room for improvement which they are currently working on right now.
