Malindo Air Reviews
If you recall, we once wrote about an airline formed out of the unity of two countries: Singapore and Thailand. NokScoot is a merged airline of two budget airlines, known as Nok Air of Thailand and Scoot of Singapore. In this review we’ll be checking on Malindo Air.
A joint venture between the National Aerospace and Defence Industries (NADI) (51%) of Malaysia and Lion Air of Indonesia (49%). The name was actually derived from the two respective countries ‘MAL-’ for Malaysia and ‘-INDO’ for Indonesia: “Malindo”. Malindo Air was founded in 2012 and commenced operations in 2013 as a budget airline providing flights within Malaysia and to Indonesia.
The fleet of Malindo Air consists of (11) ATR 72-600, (10) Boeing 737-800 and (6) Boeing 737-900ER: a total of 27 aircraft.

Malindo Air has two cabin classes on board: Economy and Business Class. Both classes provide travel-at-luxury experience with their spacious leather seats equipped with entertainment system AVOD to experience different movies, TV shows while using your headphones. Baggage allowance is between 15-40 kg. They also provide WiFi onboard and roaming services define true seamless connectivity.
Passengers are served with specially catered meals to delight customers with their Malaysian delicacies at affordable prices. Travellers can also join their frequent flyer program Malindo Miles which offers a range of benefits designed to enhance their travel experience by earning miles and redeeming travel-related benefits and discounts.
Their web page looks entertaining and attractive which means travellers are happy in Malindo Air reviews based on the overall functionality of the official website. Since Malindo Air’s site is modernized, it’s easy to navigate all over the page. It also provides a lot of information such as the privilege, inflight experience, services, policies and Malindo Miles access. The official page lets travellers check-in online, manage their booking and even book for a hotel reservation aside from a flight booking. The red bar at the top updates customers with the current news going within the airlines.
The mobile application of Malindo Air pretty much is the mobile version of the functionality and services offered in the PC version. Though based on Malindo Air reviews about the travel app, it’s malfunctioning and needs a lot of improvement even if the app recently made its update on April 21, 2016.
Malindo Air Reviews of Customers
According to Skytrax, flying with Malindo Air is not bad at all. Showing to have a total score rating of 7/10 out of 74 Malindo Air reviews online pretty much explained everything.
