Jazz Reviews

As an integral part of Air Canada’s strategy and the North American market presence, Jazz was established in 2001 to provide services to and from many smaller communities in Canada and the United States under the brand name Air Canada Express. They operate as well to larger centres at off-peak times as a complement to Air Canada’s schedule.

If you are quite confused about the several names shown with this airline, actually, the story goes back to 2011 when it was announced that Air Canada would phase out the use of the “Air Canada Jazz” name and livery and, instead, brand its regional operations as “Air Canada Express,” with the subtitle “operated by Jazz.” The contract between Jazz and Air Canada is currently in effect until 2025.

InFlight with Jazz

Jazz Reviews-cabin and crewJazz has a fleet size of 115 Bombardier and Dash aircraft that can accommodate around 42-78 passengers on board. The Canadian regional airline serves two kinds of cabins, which are the following: Economy and Business. All passengers flying with Jazz are offered complimentary hot and cold beverage service; alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.

On flights over 90 minutes, Jazz operates a buy-on-board service for Air Canada called Air Canada Express Café, offering snacks for purchase. Only major credit cards are accepted for payment on board. Please be notified that the buy-on-board service is not available on their Dash aircraft.

The Website

pageThe official site is not actually modernized, it is kind of left out. However, given the simplicity of the page, the information are complete such as the airline’s services, history, contact information, news, and social media sites. The webpage’s language is interchangeable between English and French. Though, the booking is done on Air Canada’s official website. Since that’s the case, Jazz doesn’t have a mobile application for these services.

Jazz Reviews of Customers

  1. The 45-seat CRJ200 was half-empty so I managed to get two seats to myself. It still does feel very tight though. The overhead bins won’t even take a smaller backpack and the seats are very confining in terms of personal space plus you really can’t see out of the window due to its low position.
