What people are saying

Gulf Air got a 5 out of 10 star rating on Airlinequality.com and a 5.5 out of 7 star rating on Airlineratings.com. Looks like Gulf Air is somewhere in the middle between good and bad service.

Their in flight service was complimented by many reviews. One traveler said that the attendants were very friendly “even to the most annoying passengers.”

The ample seats were comfortable since many of the reviews gave the seat comfort 4 and 5 star ratings. However, their food on board left a bad taste with some customers. There were complaints about the food being unsatisfactory and their in flight entertainment was very poor. One traveler compared Gulf Air to Emirates and Etihad, he was disappointed with Gulf Air for their poor service, unlike when he flew with Emirates and Etihad.
