Mr. Siegel once said that “Business is at the heart of America and always has been” but he left the airline he was managing to refine while in crisis. It’s not convincing to say such thought then leave the company at a poor state. Let us see what is Frontier Airlines’ standing.
Frontier Airlines actually have two histories. The original one was founded in 1950 and operated till 1986 when Continental Airlines took over the airline. However another Frontier Airlines emerged on the 8th of February 1994. This reincarnation of Frontier Airlines was due to Continental Airlines’ shutting down their Denver hub. Frontier Airlines commenced operations in July 1994 using the slogan “The Spirit of the West” shown right above the cursive letters “Frontier” in each aircraft.
The Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Airlines, David Siegel, aimed to improve the airline’s flight delays and customer concerns. However in May 2015, Siegel stooped down and was reported as “personal reasons”. Allegedly, the airlines had the highest complaint rate and worst performance among the the nation’s 14 leading airlines.

The American low cost air service is headquartered at Denver International Airport with 59 aircrafts serving 55 destinations internationally. In January 2007, the airlines made an agreement for a 11 -year service with Republic Airlines and on the 13th of April 2010 the serviced airlines announced merging with Midwest Airlines. The root of the merge and service agreement was an aid for the bankruptcy filed by Frontier Airlines in April 2007.

The official website’s layout was professionally designed and planned. The smart idea of making a $15 on the background as promotion to their 15 buck fares holidays that includes taxes & fees attracts travelers. They are pretty much good at advertising their package deals. The page doesn’t only provide offers, it also lets customers to book flights, hotel reservations and car rentals. Travelers can also check flight status, check-in online and access information about their mileage program EarlyReturns.
Frontier Airlines also have mobile version of services with their travel application available in the App store and Google Play store. Similar to the website, the mobile app lets travelers book flights, check-in online, manage booking and mobile boarding pass too. The travel of Frontier Airlines also helps customers easily select their seat and adjust their bag allowances.
Frontier Airlines Reviews of Passengers
The American low-cost carrier is gathering several negative Frontier Airlines reviews from passengers. The Top 649 complaints caught my attention, that even in Skytrax they have a total score of 2/10. Customers are commenting mostly about their overpricing and hidden charges wherein Frontier Airlines is a low-budget airline. One reviewer even said that they don’t deserve one star.
Another reviewer said “Frontier went from my favorite airline to the worst in one trip. In addition to charging for everything (including the seat, checked and carry on luggage and in flight drinks) they changed planes again and the seats are small with no leg room. Can’t even get a drink of water for 6 hours. The inflight staff is just about the rudest I’ve ever seen. They are annoyed with you before you even board, and don’t need anything. The scoffs and eye rolling are free if you do.” With this she gave the Frontier Airlines reviews a 1 out of 10 rating according to Airlinequality.com

In the End
Based on Frontier Airlines reviews, the airline is not in a good shape and I am afraid they don’t even have a leader. I am wondering as well how Frontier Airlines is coping up with the sudden departure or more like the escape of Mr. Siegel in this critical point of the company. The airline recently reduced their gates down from 14 to 8 approved by the national committee and Denver civil council which will save them $3 million dollars in gate fees.
