There were some reviews about their services and it’s not looking good for the agency. Negative reviews stating that FareCompare’s deals are not reliable at all. According to the reviews, most of the deals presented on the agency’s website are not valid. Their customer support also took some beating, one traveler was furious when he was on hold for 40 minutes and then halfway around booking his flight, his call was disconnected, so he tried calling again and disconnected once more.

Positive reviews from loyal customers defended the agency’s reputation by pointing out their strength. One particular attribute is their sophisticated airfare comparison that monitors flight deals and presents the cheapest one to the buyers. Nothing new really.

Unfortunately, there were negative reviews about their website, being cluttered and full of pop-ups.

Their customer service phone line is open 24/7 for customer assistance. Review and cancellation of flights is also allowed on their website, just make sure you have your trip number. They also have email customer service mostly for notifying customers about the latest deals and updates about the company. To gain access to information, a FAQs page is uploaded on their website. Going back to the reviews, past customers say that the agency’s customer service is not efficient. Not good, maybe they need to evaluate and make improvements asap.

Their headquarters is located in Dallas, Texas, USA. FareCompare was nominated for World’s Leading Flight Comparison Website in 2013 and 2014 by World’s Travel Awards, but that’s it they were only nominated because in both years they lost to Kayak and Dohop.

  1. Price Rate comparison is unnecessary, I would prefer booking directly to airlines rather than going to FareCompare.
