The Eagle’s first flight
The American Airlines inaugurated its first flight on April 15, 1926, by the chief pilot of Robertson Aircraft Corporation of Missouri, Mr. Charles Lindbergh. In 1929, Aviation Corporation was formed which later on changed names to American Airways. However in 1934, the airways became American Airlines Inc.

A 53 year old American, Mr. William Douglas Parker, has been the CEO of American Airlines since he was 38 year old. The CEO is known for being good with investments and very pleased by communities of late stockholders, he even impressed the investors and analysts with robust returns and bold attempts and consolidations.

The American Airlines ranked 79th this year (2015), at The World’s Top 100 Airlines 2015 by Skytrax, from being the 89th last year. AAdvantage. This is the airlines frequent flyer program wherein customers are privileged to earn miles while travelling. Customers will be able to use Miles to travel to nearly 1,000 destinations worldwide, upgrades, vacation packages, car rentals, hotel reservations, magazine subscription, into gift cards, get LifeLock identity theft protection and donate to military families. If the customer is already a member they can upgrade their membership to Elite Status, wherein there are designated to three categories; AAdvantage Executive Platinum, AAdvantage Platinum, AAdvantage Gold. The Official website and Mobile app
The American Airlines official website will be initially asking for their customers to choose their country and language and direct them to the home page. The website features allow customers to book a flight either one way or roundtrip, check-in online and check flight status. The bigger portion of the main page flashes different images of their AAdvantage membership benefits, as you scroll down you’ll see they also promote the latest packages reachable to their customer’s budget. At the bottom right of the page shows a 1 minute and 20 second video on what it’s like to fly with American Airlines. The top selection of the main page allows you to view available seats, activities customers might want to try, vacation packages in detail, make cruise reservation, car rentals, check flight schedules and travel information.

The airline has a mobile app ready for their customers to download to their smartphones. This mobile app delivers flight notifications,  mobile boarding passes, checks flight status, upgrades list and seat selection.

What people are saying
The American Airlines is getting a good score from their passenger’s feedback. One reviewer mentioned, the airlines’ aircraft is quiet and comfortable with wonderful seat spacing and a very nice inflight entertainment system. He also mentioned that the crews were exceptionally professional and the food selection was good too. The passenger ended the review with an appreciation of the new interior of Boeing 777-200 as too beautiful, plus the lighting which lifted his mood up.
